Duramax broken crank

Lbz Crankshaft concerns. Hey guys, I'm getting ready to purchase a 07 Lbz with just over 100k. The truck was serviced all its life through the dealership but I have been doing research and found the crankshafts seem to break. the only mods the truck seems to have is an intake and a 4 inch lift, the truck still has 100% emissions equipment..

Galt, Ca 95632. Jan 9, 2019. #5. The pic shows the reluctor wheel hub and oil pump gear misaligned with the crank. That pin broke for sure. Once you remove that hub then you can see the cam gear and pin. It might be fine, and your issue is just the hub in front of it. You should be able to pull that off with a puller.
